What is a pawn?
A pawn is simply a short term loan. Bring in your item and receive money; it is as simple as that. We usually give 50% to 80% of its used value.
What if I lost my ticket?
You should contact us immediately to put a hold on your item, but you will be able to get your item out with proper identification.
Can I get an item out of pawn for a friend?
Yes, you can get an item out for a friend if you have the original ticket and your I.D.
How do I know something I buy is not stolen?
We send a list of all the serial numbers taken from the items we take in, to the police department. If an item is stolen they pick it up and charge the guilty party.
Why is there a three day hold on pawns?
In Illinois there is a three day hold on pawns to give the police department time to check the serial numbers on all items we take in.
Is there a charge for layaway?
No, our layaways work the same as paying with cash, except you have up to three months on electronics, and ten months on all other items to pay the item.
